Great little italian restaurant in Towcester- nice setting/ambience and quality majns and desserts

Delicious food, lovely decoration both inside and outside, and a really good menu. Service seemed distant though. We sat waiting a good while for someone to come take our order and take our plates once finished. Other than that, we had a really good experience.

The 1867 is a great place for many occasions - we regularly visit and always feel very welcomed with our dog. Relaxed atmosphere, nice tea and coffee, lovely cakes and a good range of food and drinks all-round. Pricier than some other places, but nice with good service.

Had a wonderful dinner experience here. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, with just the right level of background music. We tried the Mediterranean branzino, which was perfectly cooked — crispy skin, tender meat, and beautifully seasoned. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the service was smooth throughout the evening. Definitely a place I’d return to, especially for a relaxed evening with great food and wine.
