Beautiful setting, good food and outstanding and friendly service

The views will keep you coming back again and again. Absolutely beautiful. Excellent and interesting sushi menu. Friendly service overall. The general manager however was quite abrasive and unreceptive to pets on site, so leave them at home if you can. We were able to stay for lunch with our three dogs. The gorgeous view made up for his off putting attitude in the end…

We dined at La Bougainvillea on Christmas evening. Although the restaurant was quite full, the staff was gracious and attentive. The food was amazing! I had not anticipated finding comfort food in the Bahamas, but I was more than happy to have received it. We look forward to our next trip to Eleuthera. Knowing La Bougainvillea is there makes returning to Governor's Harbour an even greater pleasure.
