Apparently, three members of the kitchen staff fell ill and could not report to work. The food (other than the fresh oysters) was quite unfortunate and substantially delayed. When we subsequently learned of the problem we decided to return and brought two friends. We were NOT disappointed this time. I ordered the exact same entree as two months ago (seafood pappardelle) and it was delicious and served in a timely manner. Our server was Lu and she was excellent, on top of things the whole evening. We were on the upper level, a seating area of about 20 total, and the noise level was fine for us. The entry level seemed a bit too much for us. Everyone enjoyed the wide selection of fresh oysters, served with a choice of sauces. I had the crab dip small plate and it was outstanding. It really serves two. The entrees were all outstanding. If there is one criticism to be made, it is the priciness. Is Salt worth it?
