   A lovely soothing dinner on a rainy evening! The special kinmedai nigiri was a wonderful Spring treat, it was beautifully tender and rich. The mixed lettuce salad and miso soup were especially delicious and comforting. Toby was a wonderful server and asked the bartender to modify a mocktail on the drink menu for me. Thank you Toby and everyone at Next Door for a great evening, see you soon!

   Love Next door , the food is great and we have been going there since it opened but we don’t love the new way the food is served ( as it’s ready ) it means half the table is watching someone eat and the random order it comes out kind of ruins the flow of the dining experience .

With our new sharing concept our goal is to encourage our guests to share dishes, maki rolls, and various appetizers on our menu as opposed to the traditional individual a la carte style of service.    As always, the food was delicious. This time (Chevaliers prior) we sat at the sushi counter for the first time; daughter’s birthday-thought it would be fun. The chefs, although professional, could have been more personable with the customers-absolutely no interaction there. WE asked some questions throughout our time there asking about what they were making, ingredients, etc, because we were fascinated watching them create, and although, polite, they were very short answers. Also, the waitress took too long taking our drink and food orders-she seemed very stretched out and rushed. Will go back to chevaliers or main dining next.

   Thank you so much for an amazing dinner! Bethany is a wonderful person and server, she is a delight to talk to! It was great to see the bar and dining room tables full on a Tuesday. Everything was delicious, especially the kaisen chirashi don - thank you Chef Danny! The Japanese sweet potato felt extra special today too, it’s always so delicious. Thank you everyone, it’s always great to see all of you! See you soon!

   Amazing vibe and great sushi. The cocktails and sake were delicious and our server Toby was so friendly and knowledgeable.

   An amazing dining experience! Our adorable server Nell was fantastic! She was warm and welcoming, answered every menu question, offered great suggestions, attentive, and most of all kind! Thanks Nell and team for making our graduation celebration a meal we will not forget!

   Can do wrong going to here, such a great place and every single worker from the valet to the head chef are top tier and make your environment do enjoyable.

   A perfect evening at Next Door! Dinner was delightful, the yellowtail ceviche, chutoro nigiri and branzino were the highlights of the meal. The sushi mocktail was so bright and refreshing for a lovely warm day. It is always a pleasure to dine at Next Door and to see everyone working so well together. I am grateful for Next Door, it is one of my absolute favorite places anywhere. Toby is so kind and generous, it was great to see him and he was a wonderful server. Thank you Toby! Thank you Sean and Meghan! Thank you everyone, see you soon!

    Food and service were excellent. We were a table of 8. An oddity -- our entrees were served in 4 separate deliveries over 3 - 4 minutes. This is somewhat strange in my experience with higher end restaurants.

    Thank you for the feedback Timothy, we will continue to refine our service style as we are a sharing concept, so ideally less dishes are served to guests as individual entrees, and more as dishes meant to be enjoyed by friends and family alike!
