No. 246 offers “OG” red sauce, classic Italian – a reimagined direction that marks a new era for the Decatur gem, paying homage to the old-school, Italian dining scenes of yesteryear. From chefs Drew Belline and Ford Fry, the menu showcases the likes of spicy rigatoni vodka and a bowl of meatballs in gravy plus remixed, throwback to classics like calamari marinara, cheesy garlic bread, Nonna-approved pizzas and pastas and secondi crowd-pleasers like chicken al limone and shrimp scampi – plus classic cocktails and a carefully curated wine list of American and Italian standouts.     Brandy was an amazing waiter! She was very familiar with the menu and help us with most of our food suggestions. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice.

    Exceptional service from the staff! The food was extremely flavorful. Upon looking at the menu it looks pricey, but after tasting the quality of the food, I feel like I robbed them!

    We had a reservation and we were sat outside on the back patio. It was 49 degrees and raining, however, they did have lots of heaters outside, but it was still too cold to be seating people out there. We are long time customers of No. 246 and this was the most disappointing experience by far. It was already tough being sat outside, but what was really terrible was that our food took about an hour and a half to come out. Our server did apologize and gave us a free dessert, but we ended up having everything boxed up to take home and eat. Unfortunately, I have only had good experiences when seated inside. I'm not sure we will be coming back, which makes me sad because the food is great.
