A Northern Italian kitchen inspired by the Bacari of Venice.

Our menu is inspired by tradition and dictated by the quality and availability of ingredients. We play off the similarities between the climates of Eastern Ontario and Northeast Italy, and create our take on classic dishes made with seasonal game, seafood and vegetables. Plus, sometimes we’ll just add whatever we want.

Italians have an answer for everything. Situated at the rear of the restaurant, our Bacaro upholds the Italian tradition of togetherness. Great, cozy, date night spot. The food was creative and full of flavour. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Everything I would expect in a fine dinning establishment.

A Memorable Dining Experience! Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at North and Navy, and it was exceptional from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the service attentive and thoughtful, and every dish we enjoyed was a masterpiece! We started with a new dish—a beautiful fresh salad served with Kohlrabi, apples, celery and 55 month aged Parmesan. The flavours were perfectly balanced. Every dish that followed was incredible, and the presentation was stunning—it’s clear that Chef Adam, Chef Eric, and their team take immense pride in what they do. Highly recommend North and Navy for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. We suggest that you book the counter for a dinner and show experience! We can’t wait to return!

This was our second time at North and Navy and again...not disappointed! The food was to die for. The service was spectacular. The drinks were spot on and the price is reasonable. Can't wait for our third visit :)

An amazing experience overall. Bar seats with attentive and informative service with Quinn. Superbly crafted cocktails made with slight adjustments to meet our tastes. The menu is limited but offers amazing tastes for every palate. Plates are shareable, food is expertly prepared and delicious. Butternut squash mezzaluna steals the show!
