Overall I was shocked at how long it took for someone to come greet us at the table to even bring us a glass of water. We arrived at 8pm, reservation was for 8:15…they seated us no problem. We sat there not being acknowledged for 15 minutes, while the waiter who was waiting on the 3 other tables in our row fluttered around us. It wasn’t until 8:15 that some other waiter came over and took our order. No apologies for the long wait, nothing. In addition, this was a special occasion celebrating getting a Masters Degree. The least we were expecting since it was noted in the reservation was a congratulations dessert or even a free dessert such like a birthday. We have come to North a plethora of times before, but this time was extremely disappointing and made us feel like our presence was not valued.

We had a wonderful dinner at North Italia. The food and service were amazing! The main downside was someone had gotten sick in the bathroom in the sink and no one was cleaning it up. Maybe management wasn’t aware but it was definitely gross

This has always been one of my favorite places to eat, but when we went in mid-March 2025 the food was different. The pizza which my husband ordered was really good! I ordered the braised short rib which I used to love and it was not very hot, the bone was removed and served with polenta now. We wanted sorbet and thought that is what we were offered, but it was ice cream. Coffee wasn't as strong. Wine was good. The olives are not a mix now, all green, not as good as they used to be. No bread offered while you wait for food.

Service was up and down, waiter did not understand requests, probably made asumptions, a confirmation on orders would have made this an outstanding meal. Overall always a good bet.

Food was excellent and our server, Justin, was really good. He made great recommendations and was on top of things throughout the entire meal.
