Our server Dutchess made us feel welcome and had a good interest to connect with us. My steak was overcooked but still juicy and flavorful. That said, I would expect the back of the house to master temperature of the steak. If i may suggest one thing, I think the hostess on duty could/should have been more welcoming. There was no smile and my joiner finds her cold. We could not tell if she is naturally robotic, inwardly friendly or simply tired of the guests and door-to-door jobseekers. I have not seen this at other Fairmont outlets. I wonder if the standard may be different at this particular outlet.

First time going to Notch8, and I LOVED it. For ordering just appies from the happy hour menu, they were incredibly delicious and filling. The portions are good(not your pretentious tiny ones) and price is very good compared to the portions of the food. I'm 100% returning to this location to try a full meal :)

Fabulous service and food. Salad fab. Main - scallops and mussels in coconut milk sauce were the best ever had. Definitely go again!

Our waitress was not attentive and did not ask about allergies. My food arrived with dairy which was not mentioned on the menu nor by the waitress. When I asked to reorder, the waitress did not mention if the other dishes had dairy which resulted in me ordering another dish with dairy (also not labelled on the menu)... We were disappointed by the lack of consideration and service.

Our server, who we’ve seen many times, was wonderful. A joy to be served by her. The food was so great. Good portions, well prepared and presented. We go regularly to Notch 8 and expect to continue.

I really liked the way the waiter who saved us was doing checking if everything was good and the food came in time and it was good i will definitely come again for dinner
