    My wife and I have been patrons of Ocean Prime for many years. When we first moved to Tampa we came quite often for lunch and occasionally for dinner. The food, ambience, and service have always been amazing. But lately the cost has just become unreasonable. I understand that inflation has had an affect on everyone, but Ocean Prime in particular has become so bad that it is really no longer worth visiting. Almost everything on the menu has nearly DOUBLED in price compared to just 4 years ago. Here are some examples. Carrot Cake Original Price was $12, and when ordered to go included ice cream. It is now $21, the slices are smaller, and ice cream is extra. Creme Brûlée was under $10, it is now $19.... for Creme Brûlée that is highway robbery. The 16 oz Ribeye was around $50. It is now $68. We order medium and were given rare. It's essentially everything on the menu that is hiked up in prices, and while the prices go up, the servings get smaller. It's really a shame because we used to love this restaurant. And while we could afford to go there from time to time it's really just become so expensive that it is no longer worth it.

    We had some friends visiting from Italy and wanted to treat them to some amazing Florida grouper. Ocean Prime really delivered. It was awesome!

    This place never disappoints. Mathew and his whole crew took such good care of us. The bread , drinks, salad, entrees and dessert were exceptional. Thank you for helping us celebrate our 30yr anniversary!

    First time at OP. The entire dining experience exceeded our expectations. Steaks and Chilean Bass were cooked to perfection as was the appetizers and the sides we ordered. The server (Adam) was very personable, attentive to our desires and very informative in helping us decide on our meal choices. He was very knowledgeable on the menu. I will definitely recommend OP and our server Adam to our friends and family looking for a fantastic dining experience.

    Ocean Prime is hard to beat for a great experience whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just gathering with friends for a night out. Great food great service and great experience every time.

    We have been to Ocean prime many, many times.. food, ambiance, service were always outstanding. Tonight, on a Monday night, the service was really bad. Mathew, our waiter, was just rushing us through. He literally was taking plates from in-front of us while we are still holding the forks. Between appetizers and main course he just put the silverware on a tablecloth that had so many bread crumbs. One of the martini glass was chipped. But the worse was literally like he was trying to get us out of there, and sure enough, we were out of there in an hour, at most. I love this place, but they need to work on training their new waiters that this is not Red Lobster.
