    Coinciding with peak white truffle season, we're offering a seasonal prix fixe menu featuring dishes designed to shine with shaved truffles, as a supplementary option. This menu is being offered from 11/12-23 and offers three and four course options with a few selections in each course. We will be offering truffle supplements and other enhancements onsite. Menu options start at $70 per person. MENU: www.octavia-sf.com/november Please note, our a la carte dining menu will be paused during these dates. A credit card hold is required to make your reservation, but all charges related to the menu will be billed onsite with your final check.

    Octavia is a beautiful restaurant and the service was very attentive; unfortunately the food was unremarkable. While the ingredients were fresh, the execution felt fussy, heavy and lacked finesse. A spaghetti starter was drenched in butter, a truffle custard was underseasoned, and pumpkin canneloni was sweet with an under- cooked pasta wrapper.

    The seasonal pre-fixe white truffle influenced menu was fantastic and delicious. Each dish was superbly crafted, and portions were perfectly sized. The pavlova for dessert was an exquisite ending to a wonderful evening. Service was also top-notch and personable.

    Octavia remains a terrific restaurant; excellent food in a refined but casual atmosphere. Great service and very well selected wine by the glass list.

    Octavia is an excellent restaurant with great food and a superior staff. I don’t go there enough, I wish it were in my neighborhood.

    Inventive but accessible prix fixe menu. Flavorful but not overpowering. Server did a great job of describing the food which enhanced the experience.

    Paid $140.00 reservation fee in advance. I was held hostage! They did not have the steak available at 7:30pm I had no choice but to order remaining items on price fixe menu. The pasta was good but swordfish not good. Also I am not normally cold but freezing during entire meal. Courses took longer than usual to arrive.

    We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last evening at Octavia. Our waiter was excellent, the food was exceptional, especially the Pavlova dessert. It was so delicious we ordered another one after we finished the first one. I was also impressed that I was texted to alert me our table was not available at the time of the reservation, but would be in 15 minutes. Very considerate! The only ding would be for how noisy it was - but that also added something to the verve!
