I recently celebrated my 70th birthday with my wife at the Old City House restaurant and we had an indubitably delicious dinner with our fantastic waitress serving us. She sat us at a lovely corner table for two next to a window. The ambience was cozy, warm, elegant, relaxing, romantic and simply superb! The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was amazing, delightful and scrumptious. We enjoyed a very nice bottle of Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir 2023 from Williamette Valley, Oregon before we ordered our dishes. According to my wife, her magnificent lamb dish was wonderful! I savored a lovely cup of she-crab bisque and the beef tenderloin, which was a very flavorful, juicy, moist, succulent and tender Filet Mignon served with Vegetables, Gratin Potatoes and Topped with Herb and Truffle Butter. Dessert was quite delectable! We had an amazing dining experience. I told our fantastic waitress," ¡No me gusta, me encanta!"

Unremarkable. The food was boring and reminiscent of the 80s. Flavors did not mesh well. We were served crackers with cheese for an appetizer. The head chef needs to shake things up.

Spent three days in St Augustiine and ate at three different fine dining establishments. By far, Old City House surpassed them all. Excellent restaurant on every level. The filet and chicken were cooked perfectly. The presentation and service were outstanding. The waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to detail. Can only say good things about the experience. One word of advice: if you want to visit here, get a reservation. Several people walked up while we were there and told the night was not available due to capacity. Keep up the good work Old City House.

Lovely place and great food. We were really surprised by the quality of the meals. Staff very friendly and accommodating re: our toddler. We Highly recommend.

We talked about how good the dinner was for a couple of days! We knew it would be good, but it far surpassed our expectations. We highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!

The waitstaff was top notch and the food was delicious. Our waiter helped with suggestions and he was spot on. The Chilean Sea Bass was perfect and so was the 14 oz. pork chop. Our meal was paired with a nice cabernet. What a great place to begin our New Year's Eve celebration. We will definitely be back.

The food was awful and took forever! The meatloaf looked like it was from a Hungry Man tv box dinner. The salmon also seemed like it was from a box . We sat on the patio which was very lovely but many of the string lights were out and there were dead potted plants by us. The only positive experience was our server was very nice.

I had the swordfish special which was simply outstanding, I believe it is the best fish I have ever had. It melted in my mouth and the sauce was delicious. I traded my mashed potatoes for my daughter’s risotto which was also excellent. Service was top notch. I can’t wait to go back!

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious and the best part was you could actually hold a conversation about having to shout over loud music and lots of other patrons talking.
