Just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte and 7 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Old Stone Steakhouse is located in historic downtown Belmont in the beautifully restored Belmont Police Department building. We offer upscale steak and seafood with casual prices and a warm ambience during the evening and a laid back and approachable lunch menu during the day.

You will also find a full bar with an extensive wine, beer and liquor menu. If looking to dine al fresco, we have a large patio overlooking Main Street and Stowe park.

My husband and I go here every year after attending the DSBG Holiday Lights program. This is absolutely our favorite restaurant and never disappoints. The ribs are absolutely, hands down the best ribs we have ever had. The Cajun aioli and fried pickles - scrumptious. This year, we had pairings with a peanut butter chocolate microbrew from a local brewery. Just WOW!

Our waiter, Michael, who has only been at old Stone steakhouse for approximately one month was an amazing server. From the time he first greeted us to the time that he brought us our bill, he never Missed a beat throughout our entire dining experience we appreciate you Michael and we appreciate old stone steakhouse for their terrific food

Food is not quite what it used to be, I had a Ribeye, it was not a very good cut, its just that I have had much better there before. Wedge salad was crisp and fresh however.

Bartender Justin is the best! Our server Sarah was outstanding! Great food and great service is always a winning combination! Phenomenal experience!

Drinks, food & service were terrible. Goat cheese appetizer was a disappointment ~ 3 round pieces of goat cheese with a small amount of maple syrup poured over it. I actually ask for more syrup because it was like eating plain goat cheese on pita wedges. It was literally like pancake syrup. Filet mignon was chewy, collards had big hard stems, baked Mac & cheese was like rubber with no taste. I’ve honestly had a better steak & food at Longhorn. Old Stone use to be an upscale restaurant with great food. Bill was 106.58 gave waitress $120 & she returned with $113 🤦🏽‍♀️ We were going to tip $20 plus the change even though everything was terrible. But when she returned with $113 we just got up & left. Will never go back or recommend this restaurant. It would be understandable if it were just one thing that was bad cause places have off days but everything was bad!! I have pics of food, bill & change and will probably make a fb post & review on their page.

First time. Great steaks & sides. Steaks priced well but extra sides add up. But lots of options and clearly marked on menu.
