Just 15 miles from uptown Charlotte and 7 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Old Stone Steakhouse is located in historic downtown Belmont in the beautifully restored Belmont Police Department building. We offer upscale steak and seafood with casual prices and a warm ambience during the evening and a laid back and approachable lunch menu during the day.

You will also find a full bar with an extensive wine, beer and liquor menu. If looking to dine al fresco, we have a large patio overlooking Main Street and Stowe park.

                                                                      I’ve spent the last 25 years traveling across America, Europe and Asia for business and have tasted fine cuisine everywhere. Little did I know that the most flavorful steaks and seafood was right in my backyard! Wow! We had a large party so we ordered a variety of entrees and appetizers. Every morsel was an explosion of flavor with exquisite presentation. My compliments to the owner, manager, wait staff and everyone involved that made this evening so magical! My daughter is a social influencer with 3 million instagram followers. She’s paid to go to exotic places and comment on the venue and cuisine. She was blown away!

                                                                      The young gentleman host was rude. We were seated at a table that barely fit 2 and when we asked to sit in the vacant booths, we were told those were for parties of 3 or more. Within the next 30 minutes he seated couples of 2 in those booths. When asked, he obviously lied to us and said they were there before us. We had made our reservations 3 weeks in advance. Food was okay. Sirloin was tough but the filet was good. We enjoyed the wedge salad. Our waitress Bailey was the cutest and made the evening enjoyable. We probably won't be going back.

                                                                      The food was very good. We had to set outside in the covered area. Because our party was 12, it was so cold. They had the heaters going, but the floor I guess, is open and our feet froze. This was our third time going there.

                                                                      Had a sweet waiter, but took him forever to serve us. We were sat before a big party and yet they weren’t all there and were still served/welcomed before us…it was so noticeable that the hostesses even noticed that we didn’t even have water or anything. The food was good, but even for the queens feast $45 each for what we got was not worth it.

                                                                      Our service was attentive, friendly and very nice. The food was very good. We definitely didn't leave hungry. We decided to try out the restaurant for Queen's Feast. We definitely will go back to try other items in the menu

                                                                      Cozy ambiance. Seated immediately. Server was very attentive. Food came out quick. We went to experience Queens Feast. Appetizer was shrimp cocktail and crab cakes. Ceasar salad was good and the wedge salad was really tasty. Wife and daughter had sirloin/bacon wrapped scallops and I had a filet mignon. Everything was cooked spot on. Highly recommended!

                                                                      When I arrived, the host was apologetic as our table was not ready. However, we were quickly sat at another table as the host and another worker quickly arranged for another table to be available. It was not expected but appreciated and did not go unnoticed! Our server was attentive and friendly. We placed our orders and received our meals efficiently. The timing was perfect. The food was fresh and delicious. My husband and I raved about our supper as we devoured it in a matter of minutes. Thank you for an amazing evening!
