Opened in October of 2002 and located south of Boston, on Route 1 (the Auto Mile) next to the Four Points by Sheraton Norwood Hotel, this popular neighborhood restaurant and bar attracts loyal diners from Norwood, Boston, Providence, Dedham, Sharon, Stoughton, Westwood and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious! My friend and I came here on a Wednesday evening so it was quiet and not too many guests. To start, they offer a complimentary bread basket that includes 2 white rolls and this bread that has cranberries and something else I am not sure but never it was—it was by far some of the best bread I’ve had. SO tasty!! Next, we split the calamari and a fall harvest salad as an appetizer (absolutely amazing—that salad is one of the best I’ve had). Everything came out quickly! For entrees she got the steak frites and I got the red wine braised short rib. I wish the rib size was a little bigger but it was still delicious and she enjoyed her meal as well. And then we ended with dessert. She got the pumpkin bread pudding, which was HUGE and I got the chocolate molten lava cake which was homemade and ACTUALLY molten. Very delicious as well. I would give this place a 9/10! Again, just a small deduction because of the size of the rib and it could’ve used a little bit more flavor. But overall, I really enjoyed this place. And the price was well worth the experience! I’ll definitely be back! Oh and our waitress, Shannon, was great at checking in, clearing the table throughout the meal and not rushing our entree when she saw we were still tackling the appetizers.

Excellent all around dining experience. We come here monthly for our book club and One Bistro has never disappointed.

Three of us ladies "reunited" in a quiet corner for lunch. We spend hours eating and talking without interruption. Our server was wonderful, checking in from time to time but letting us go at our own pace. All three of us chose from the special lunch: choice of side salad, cup of soup and half of a sandwich for only $19. My friends raved about the onion soup; I thoroughly enjoyed the the seafood chowder. The chop salads were tasty and we all took home the sandwich half because we were so full. Although my husband and I have often enjoyed dinner at One Bistro, this was the first time I've been there for lunch. We all agreed: We'll go back!

Jo was an excellent server! She has an amazing memory and got both our drink and meal orders correct, without writing anything down; and there were 4 of us! Our meal was quite good. We’ll definitely be back!

I was joined by 4 of my girlfriends for brunch on the weekend. Our waitress, Elaine, was very attentive, fun and thoughtful. Food was attractive on the plate and delicious. The warm danishes on the table were also delightful. I would definitely go back here for brunch again!

Actually this time the flavor was good but quite heavy handed on the salt. Also seemed a bit pricy. But the waitress was great as usual. I almost complained about the food but felt bad and didn't.

We celebrated not only New Years but our 14th Wedding Anniversary as well! The food and service was excellent (as always). My husband and I both had the filet, melt in your mouth. This is Norwood’s Hidden Gem restaurant! We’ve celebrated every wedding Anniversary except 1 during Covid. Thank you Chef Anthony, Renae, and the rest of the staff for making our evening so special.🎉🥂❤️🙏🏻
