Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox has taken many forms over its long and storied history. Built in 1890 the historic Victorian-Style Airedale Building, features décor that honors the building’s past of whiskey-fueled evenings, jazz filled dance floors, and the secrets of a speakeasy. The 8,000 square foot space has hosted the likes of miners, railworkers, bootleggers and even Ophelia herself.

Our dinner menu features savory snacks, individual pizza slices, venue-friendly sandwiches. We also offer a unique by hangover friendly brunch where you and your friends can enjoy bottomless mimosas and free live music.

We will be open for regular hours, pending shows & events, Wednesday - Saturday for dinner & entertainment, and Saturday and Sunday for brunch. We will be open for select Mondays & Tuesdays, but otherwise closed without programming.

We're looking forward to welcoming you into one of the oldest and most unique dining and entertainment spaces that Denver has to offer!

Overall a nice experience with one large disappointment. Food, cocktails and service were good. Noisy conversation at tables near us made it hard to hear my dining companion. Big disappointment was that the brunch musical entertainment was only provided by a DJ. From the restaurant's website description, I was expecting a live musician or band and made the booking with that understanding. I think the disclosure was inadequate and misleading.

Great first experience! Food, music, service terrific. Sat on the main stage floor and enjoyed the view of the band. Appeared sitting upstairs along the balcony area with view of the band would have been great too.

Frist time coming back to Ophelia's since they've restarted their brunch with the new menu. Food and ambiance were lovely and the same, but the kitchen service was very very slow. The waitstaff were very good about checking in, but for simple breakfast items it should not take over an hour to be delivered. We had plans after brunch so we were disappointed we had to rush eating.

Some kind of issue with the kitchen today. Our food took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to come after ordering. Neither the server or manager knew what was going on. Even when we flagged it to them after nearly an hour, it still took another 20 minutes to arrive. We had ordered scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy etc. Nothing that required long cook times. Manager on duty offered to buy us a round of drinks but I asked for the food to be removed from the bill and she reluctantly agreed. Music was fun and when the band was playin, but the fail from the kitchen soured the experience.

We went to see JoJo Herman and the music was off the charts! The vibe was incredible! Tyler our bartender was Stellar! We will definitely be back
