Ophelia's on the Bay is one of Sarasota’s premier fine dining waterfront restaurants. Enjoy beautiful vistas of Little Sarasota Bay, from the floor-to-ceiling windows that line the dining room. Or join us for al fresco dining on our open-air patio, as the dolphins and manatee swim by. Winner of many awards both locally and nationally, including an Excellence rating from Zagat as well as being listed as the number one restaurant in America in Power and Motoryacht Magazine for dock and dine. Ophelia's on the Bay has also been voted most romantic, best waterfront and best restaurant with a view by its loyal customers. The menu changes nightly using fresh and seasonal ingredients, fresh fish flown in from all over the world and specialty meats. There is certainly something for every palate! It was a perfect evening. The only problem I had with your survey, regarded the noise level. One of the reasons we love to come is because there is a low noise level. We do not like to go to a fine dining restaurant where you cannot hear yourself. We love the ambience and the low amount of noise. low.!!!!

It was a beautiful night. Our waiter was great. My husband loves garlic, but found the pasta dish way too heavy on the garlic. The biggest disappointment was that they asked everyone to clear out by 11pm. They said it was a city ordinance. I have been coming to Ophelia’s for many years. Never have I experienced this. We had to rush through our dessert and coffee. It was surprisingly not busy and expect that was the reason for the closure. Our waiter agreed.

Ophelia’s is by far the best restaurant on Siesta Key. Been going there for four years and the quality, service, and atmosphere has not changed. Excellent food!!!

Ophelia restaurant did a great job on busy NYE. Chris has been there for years and is always helpful, understanding of allergies and nice. Everything was great. Expensive but well worth the cost for a memorable evening.

Great atmosphere, excellent service from parking valet to servers!! Our server Sylvia is amazing!! Excellent! Food was delicious-scallops, PAELLA, Sea Bass. Desserts-Chocolate Torte and Key Lime pie with meringue-awesome!’

We had an incredible dinner and memorable evening at Ophelia's on the Bay. We came with family to celebrate my husband's birthday and had the most special night. Every dish was delicious, the setting was beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond, even bringing us complimentary champagne to toast. We sat out on the patio and even though it was a foggy evening, we could see the bay and lights in the mist and it was lovely. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to have a celebratory dinner or a special date night.

We were very concerned to go and eat outside because of thick fog had moved in and we were worried about missing the beautiful sunset light. The fog made it an even more beautiful setting. This is our second time at Ophelia’s. Both times the food as well as the service has been top-notch. I highly recommend it!

The last two visits were so disappointing. The food is delicious. The service is very mediocre. We were at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours before we got food. We talked to our server, Sienna. Her response was sorry, I’m just doing my job. Unprofessional at best. We have owned homes here for 45 years. This restaurant was our favorite. Disappointed!
