Opus One restaurant specialises in award-winning French influenced modern Scottish cuisine. The dining room is sleek and modern – an almost monochromatic theme features black leather and white linen - all the better for enjoying a very special dining experience. Located in the New County Hotel in the heart of Perth, Opus One has won numerous accolades, and holds two AA Rosettes. Head chef Romi Denesle also won the Medaille d’Or at 2011’s Scottish Hotel Awards. Denesle brings years of experience in Michelin-starred kitchens as well as a finely honed palate from his early years in Normandy. He uses the very finest of fresh local produce to create those modern Scottish dishes with a French twist as well as more thoroughly Gallic choices. Opus One is renowned amongst Perth foodies and those from further afield for its elegant fine dining setting, and creatively presented dishes; food here is as good to eat as it is to look at.

Opus One has an interesting menu. We enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the special offer was reasonable value for money.

A really lovely lunch at The Pump Room, Bristol with delicious beer. Staff were friendly too. Would visit again.

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our dinner at Opus One in Perth. My food was very good but my wife only rated hers as good. The supplements charged over the standard prices for 2 or 3 courses are irritating and not worth the extra. Also the bread provided was the size of a large crumb, rather than a slice!

The meal had at The Pump House in Bristol was delicious and the service very friendly. We were made very welcome on the Wednesday, despite the fact that they had been informed by you that we were due the day before. Ten out of ten for them. Two out of ten for you!

Great service, really interesting menu - rarely wanted to try so many dishes on a menu Shetland seafood with choritzo a highlight, great use of foraged herbs - appauling cheese course (no choice, tiny portions - far too much chutney, no info until asked) £45 for 3 course aperitif, wine and dessert wine - good if not great value A quiet saturday night - but we has a lovely evening.

We had a very jolly time here. The food was fantatic off their restaurant menu. Lots of 'foraged' additions and home grown. Great Restaurant Manager - very attentive an knowledgeable about his wine list also. unusual venue - the restaurant is well worth a visit - they have another menu but we did not see it on the night. the walk up by the river really rounded the evening off. small car park so worth going early

Nice venue by the waterside. Comfortable but not terribly intimate, service from Adam was fantastic, and the contemporary style food, was very good.

We visited the Pump House in Hotwells, Bristol on Sunday 6th December. We thought the food was excellent and the service was very good. We would certainly go again.
