Small and romantic we specialize in celebrations with family and friends, or just a quiet dinner with good conversation. We are family owned and operated and have been serving our community since 2001.

Drive in to Opera Alley and be transported. We strive to bring approachable food and beverage, a sense of comfort and community, as well as a unique and quality dining experience. We call ourselves a "cafe" in the sense that we are not pretentious and offer a fine dining experience in an atmosphere of comfort and respite.

Parking in Opera Alley, and downtown, can be a bit of a challenge, especially on the weekends, so please be sure to give yourself plenty of time when making reservations to find a parking space, or consider a night off from driving and get an Uber or Lift!! Eat good food often, break bread with friends and family, spend time with those you love, and we will see you soon.

Perfection! Wonderful staff, impeccable service, food perfect, menu... great selections. Ownership has changed with seamless transition. You would never know it changed hands. New owners are delightful. This is our #1 choice for special places to go for dinner. We had the Ribeye and it was wonderful. The Crab Bisque is a must. The Wedge salad was Yum!!

Absolutely beautiful!! Such a small, modern, classic spot! Super unique. The food was great. Seasonal but absolutely delicious! My husband and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary there and they had roses out and had a “Happy Anniversary” card and dessert for us. We will definitely be back !

I am a fan of Over The Moon so a friend joined me last night for her first time. As usual, all the seating was filled -- on a Tuesday night! but the service was timely and attentive without being annoying. When we first arrived at 4:45 the music was louder than I remembered .... but turned down to an accommodating level for conversation. I personally avoid most restaurants because I find having to raise my voice to have a conversation is not relaxing. My friend tried my favorite, lasagna, and found it unique (no pasta) and soooo good. My friend was surprised when four friends arrive later to celebrate a birthday -- we are all from Gig Harbor. No view, no gimmicks ..... just a comfortable setting for a better than usual dining experience.

This place never disappoints. The food is wonderful. The servers are helpful and friendly. The ambiance is great! It is a bit expensive, but it's well worth it. The gnocchi starter was delectable. The ragu, the ribeye, and the duck were shared around the table and everyone liked everything. In my family we dance in our seats when we're eating amazing food and last night was like a dance marathon!

Everything was excellent and beyond my expectations. My only quibble is with the arm chairs that are used at some of the tables. They were a little uncomfortable to use as dining chairs due to the low seat:table ratio. Other than that, the entire experience was really excellent.

This was our second Anniversary dinner at Over the Moon. The service was, as always outstanding. The food however was not. The duck was tough and the short ribs less than satisfactory. I am not sure we will try a third Anniversary
