   I have visited Pappas Brothers Steakhouse often in the past to have great steaks and accompaniments. The crab cakes for a starter were great! However, I went for the steak, which turned out to be the worst steak I have ever had at any type of steakhouse. Center cut filets are supposed to be very tender, especially when prepared medium rare. This was as tough as shoe leather. The mushrooms and cream spinach were good. I went to Pappa's for the steak. Very disappointing this time...

   My medium plus steak was still moo-ing. I know, my fault for not sending the plate back to be cooked, but medium plus should not be a plate of blood. It was horrible.

   Great team. The hostess as well as behind the bar remembers my name and that usually projects caring about the customers experience. Also both piano players are talented and very friendly. Zack is really knowledgeable on the wine. Also very convenient short walk from One Park.

   Everything was top notch! Was a little noisy but nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back!

   The main dining room can be a little loud on a busy night, making conversation a little difficult; but it is very comfortable. The food is ALWAYS consistently excellent. Service was a little off on this visit, but not without effort and apologies.

   Great shrimp cocktail, great filet, mash potatoes good…needs something extra, great Brussels sprouts, spectacular desserts. You can literally go there for the deserts alone. Great ambiance and service. Of course the wine list is second to none.

   We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We had a reservation at 7:45pm and arrived right at 7:45. We weren't seated until 8:50pm after I had to ask multiple times why we hadn't been seated. The last time I talked to the hosted she admitted that she accidentally sat someone else instead of us who claimed they had the same name. Once we were finally seared and ordered. The food didn't come for an hour. So again 7:45 reservation, seated at 8:50, food arrived at 9:50pm. When the food finally did arrive it it was just the steak no sides. He literally just stood there by our table for several minutes waiting for our sides. He then proceeded to cut the steak and still no sides or serving plates. After another few minutes he left and came back with plates and sides. The food was very good but not worth the waiting and trouble. We won't be going back.

    Food was just ok. Nothing special, really. Too bad as it cost a lot. Ambiance was nice.
