Owned by brothers John-Thomas and Christopher Scott, Parker's on Ponce is Decatur's first independently owned steakhouse. The Scott family has always been extremely involved in the local community, including local government. The restaurant is named after John-Thomas' 12 year old daughter, Parker. The whole family is often seen at the restaurant - it is not a business to them, but a home - and they treat guests of the restaurant as family as well.

Parker's on Ponce is one of Decatur's best kept secrets and I'm glad we discovered it. The staff were welcoming, great menu selection, ambiance, and large portion size.

We dined here because of the restaurant's $25 off $60 offer, and also, to celebrate our anniversary early. Liana, our server, was excellent and took good care of us. I enjoyed my glass of Pinot Grigio and my husband drank two glasses of the Viognier. The rolls were a disappointment this time because we enjoyed the sliced sourdough bread from our previous visit. My husband ordered two appetizers for his meal, including the grilled octopus and breaded calamari. I tried the octopus and found it to be fatty and chewy. He didn't mind, though, and enjoyed both of the dishes. I ordered the crab cakes as my entree and substituted broccoli and mashed potatoes for my sides. The broccoli was overcooked, but the mashed potatoes were delicious. The crab cakes were just okay and a little gummy. I will probably go back to ordering the salmon or trout on our next visit, as they have always been delicious. Apparently, we could not get a free appetizer for our anniversary since the coupon superseded the free dessert, which was okay because we were very full.

The food was excellent the presentation I ordered salmon and the rice was really good. The salmon had terrific flavor and my partner ordered the steak that was done correctly for her taste. She said that it had perfect seasoning and baked potatoes loaded and she loved that she had a mixed drink and she said that was on point. This was our first time visiting Parker’s so our overall experience was two thumbs up.

Blood Orange OF was exceptional. Apps diverse, different, and delicious. Salads inspired and fantastic. Wide choice of entrees and all delicious. Service was spectacular. Overall experience was spot on. Will repeat if we are ever back in Decatur

Caroline was our waitress. Exceptional service, great attitude, and was very charming. Food and drinks were delivered quickly. Managers came by frequently to check on us. Food was very good!

Great food and our server was fantastic. Although we were dining late, Caroline was just as bubbly and friendly like w were her first customers for the day! It was my husband's birthday and receiving a dessert gift from you was the "icing" on the cake. Parker's atmosphere is the best!
