If you’ve ever eaten at a family-run Italian restaurant back East, you’ll appreciate what Pasta Brioni is all about. From the second you walk in the door to this Scottsdale establishment, the management and wait staff treat you like family – in fact, it seems that there are so many regulars at Pasta Brioni that many of them may be family. Rich wood paneling and a gorgeous wood bar, white linen tables, stained glass lights and Rat Pack music playing all add to this incredibly inviting ambiance.

                                                                                                  Had high expectations for this Italian restaurant. Our party of four only saw the waiter about 3 to 4 times during our 2 hour plus meal. Waited long periods in between each course. We had a gluten-free person at the table. She ordered Halibut to then learn an hour later that they were out of that fish and could only offer her Salmon. Another person at our table ordered a pasta dish and was also told that they were sold out. Main course was cold when arrived and lacked taste. Super disappointed.

                                                                                                  It reminds you of the old classic Italian restaurants of yesteryears, white table cloths, dark wood, and a smell of herbs, but unfortunately there wasn’t any herbs in the food. My guest reveled to me when leaving that their food was bland, and lacked taste. I was shocked, cause that what I had been thinking. I had Linguine with clams. Plenty of clams, hot, fresh but lacked taste. My guest had Linguine with a variety of seafood, same thing no taste. Now to be fair my other guest had Egg Plant and they loved their dish. So seems we had a mix of options. This was unfortunate cause we have been here before and really liked it but will have to go else where next time and try again later and hope we can make our tastebuds happy again.

                                                                                                  First time visit based on reading previous restaurant reviews. We will move this to our TOP Italian restaurant in PHX-Scottsdale area. Lobster and Shrimp Diavalo Pasta was spicy, flavorful and generous. My wife had the Pesto Chicken which will be my next meal there. Enjoyed the Smoked Orange Old Fashioned and seeing lots of local regulars interacting with staff in the lounge area. Try it out, you wont be disappointed!

                                                                                                  Exceeded our expectations for a classic Italian restaurant! The ambience has an old-school vibe with ample seating and an expansive lounge. The service was excellent; our waitperson made excellent recommendations and was very accommodating to our requests. The Manhattan cocktails were perfection. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. We started with the Calamari Fritta, which was fresh, fried with a light breading and delicious. I had the Caesar Salad - made from scratch to perfection My entree was Veal Picatta - three large slices of veal with a delicate sauce. I ordered a side of Fettuccini Alfredo - homemade pasta with a perfect sauce - so good! My dining partner had Emma's Dumplings, a unique offering of impastata ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, and spinach dumplings served with vodka sauce. We finished with a cannoli, which was also perfection. We had enough leftovers for a light meal the next day. I highly recommend Pasta Brioni if you want a classic Italian dining experience. The lounge offers happy hour with a menu with many of their specialties at happy hour prices. I think we will take advantage of that the next time we're craving Italian. Buon appetito!

                                                                                                  Food was just okay, there wasn’t really anything special about the restaurant. I had the Italian wedding soup for an appetizer and it was very tasty. I won’t be in a hurry to go back to this particular restaurant.

                                                                                                  Overall ther experience was good. Our server started out strong and progressively got less and less attentive/seemed like he just wanted to leave. The lasagna was lack luster but the rest of our food was fantastic! Try the four cheese rigatoni, veal piccata, pappardelle bolognese, chicken parm, and shrimp scampi; those were great dishes!
