Peninsula Grill is an AAA Four-Diamond restaurant located in the heart of Charleston’s renowned Historic District. It has garnered recognition from prestigious publications such as Departures, Condé Nast Traveler, Food & Wine, The New York Times, Southern Living, Travel + Leisure, and Wine Spectator.

The Peninsula Grill Dining Room exudes the luxurious atmosphere of a supper club, with velvet-lined walls in shimmering oyster tones, woven seagrass accents, and indigenous cypress molding. Adjacent to the dining area, the Peninsula Grill Champagne Bar is an intimate jewel-box space offering a selection of champagnes.

                                                          Peninsula Grill is our fine dining go to restaurant. But tonight, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. My filet was delicious. Every time we order steak at PG, it’s delicious. The disappointment was a grouper special that my husband and son in law ordered. The fish was very over cooked - dry and chewy. We should have sent it back. We also had scallops, mussels, she crab soup, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, tart tatin and crème brulee. All of those dishes were very good to excellent.

                                                          The overall service was good but we all thought the soup was not warm enough. My trout was too dry/overcooked and not enjoyable. I will not order that again.
