The Pepper Tree restaurant has been a tradition for fine dining in Colorado Springs since 1983. Serving steaks, seafood, lamb, veal and more, the Pepper Tree is legendary for impeccable cuisine, ambiance, service and breathtaking views of the city. The Pepper Tree's signature Mango Chutney Pepper Steak and other specialties, including Chateaubriand and Steak Diane, are prepared or finished table side.

    My table felt that the steaks lacked seasoning and that some of the sauces were a bit too sweet. The steaks were cooked to the right temperature and were very tender. Additionally, the chai old fashioned was very good. That being said overall the price to value did not match for our table.

    We were recommended this restaurant 10 years ago and loved it then. We went back after recently moving back to the area and it was just as good as the first time. The wait staff was attentive. The food was great. The atmosphere was wonderful for a night out. We will be back.

    Wonderful dinner for our anniversary. The wait staff was professional, helpful, super friendly. The steaks were perfect and the diver some special was delicious.

    Everything was GREAT! They cool the steak table side and the chef was very nice to chat with! I highly recommend!

    We went for a New Year’s Eve dinner. I enjoyed the views. The service was perfection. Not once did we wait for a waiter. Several carried on certain tasks and orchestrated it very well. All were very professional and friendly. The food was quite good leaving out the smoked salmon appetizer which was just basic and my beef Wellington was a bit dry and lacking flavor, but my husbands ribeye was perfection and our kids entrees were very good. One thing that was not appealing was the cooking of some steaks in a pan table side. Not good. Prime steak should never be cooked ok gas fire store in a pan. I cringed a bit. I would suggest keeping the idea but maybe using a mini grill instead? Gives the meat such a better flavor.
