In the heart of rural Northumberland in the village of Chatton you'll find The Percy Arms; an ideal place to visit, dine or stay in luxury. Take a drive Northbound on the A1 from Morpeth (a mere 36 miles), follow the signs for Chillingham Castle and you'll descend on the peace and tranquillity of Chatton. On your drive there, you'll witness the spectacle of the Cheviot Hills, the varied hues of the grasses and heaths and appreciate the true splendour of our county.
The Percy Arms is the ideal place to visit or stay for those looking for a relaxing break in informal but luxurious surroundings in the Northumberland countryside. The Percy Arms is in close proximity to some fantastic places including the spectacular Northumberland coastline, National Park, fine Castles and country houses, splendid churches and delightful towns and villages. We are dog friendly in our bar area if you wish to dine with your beloved dog.

    Join us on Christmas Day for a traditional, indulgent and tantalising 5 course menu complete with canapes and fizz on arrival, vegetarian option and the best ingredients the region has to offer. Adults £95 and children £55. We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking, with the remaining balance paid by the 1st December along with your pre-order.     Really well worth a visit. Staff were very good and attentive. Everywhere was clean and comfortable. We chose just main and dessert. Steak for main, mine was slightly chewy but husbands was spot on so must have been the cut. I had ice cream which was delicious and husband had cheese & biscuits so we could share. Perfect evening and perfect wines. Booked in again for tomorrow night as we are staying in the cottage right next door, which is also excellent 🤩

    Superb Christmas lunch from the festive menu. Menu well thought out and Christmas lunch was very tasty, well cooked and nicely presented. Lovely service, warm and welcoming and our four legged friend loved her serving of pigs in blankets for lunch too! Thank you :)

We are so pleased your pup enjoyed their lunch too, not surprised though as the pigs in blankets are amazing and a firm favourite with 2 and 4 legged guests.     4 of us enjoyed our Sunday lunch. The food was cooked perfectly and numerous vegetables accompanied a good portion of meat. The menu was varied with plenty of starters & main courses to choose from.

    Enjoyed a meal here whilst away for a long weekend- lovely food - value for money and great service from the lovely team who went the extra mile. Felt really welcomed and enjoyed the experience. Thank you. I had the venison sausages and my partner had the spinach and falafel burger.

    What a Sunday roast feast! Delicious food and plenty of it. Very friendly service, a blazing wood fire and a lovely dining area. Could not have been better.

    I booked for 6 people for Sunday lunch but unfortunately 3 of our party were delayed by 40 minutes. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was a problem to them . When we eventually arrived and our food was served it was delicious. Some had chicken , others lamb. Both were great, tasty and piping hot. Would definitely recommend and will eat there again.

    Great food, and the service we received was lovely. However, there were not enough staff working and they were clearly doing the best they could. One or two people would have alleviated matters. Worth a visit.

    We found a little gem in the Percy Arms the room was outstanding the food was superb and the staff could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay. We will return without any doubt
