   Wonderful authentic food. Ambience was fantastic. Such friendly staff. Wine excellent, nothing too fancy just good French wine, loved the fact it was served in tumblers, no fancy wine glasses here.

   Petit Paris, Edinburgh - We always visit this restaurant when in Edinburgh, and it never disappoints. Once again the staff and service were wonderful. The atmosphere transports you to France, from the Grassmarket! The escargot starter was lovely and the bouillabaisse was excellent, though the portion defeated us! Will return on our next visit to Edinburgh.

   Petit Paris, Edinburgh A long wait (55 minutes) for our meal, we had only a main course but it was excellent. The waitress, from Nimes, was also excellent. It is a pity to drink wine from tumblers (they should at least offer wine glasses) and I don't recall them doing that in Paris but maybe its part of the atmosphere?

   Went to Petit Paris a year ago & really enjoyed it but was a little disappointed this time. The fish soup starter was really just a crab bisque. lucky for me I like crab, but it wasn't what was expected. Venison casserole was very tasty but the venison a little tough. My partners boudin noire starter was very nice, but the fish casserole main was watery & very salty. service was friendly during the meal, but we were being chased out of the door at 10.20 on a Friday night as they wanted to close.

   Visiting le petit Paris in Edinburgh is like being transported to France.The food abd atmosphere are authentic....and excellent.

   My partner and I visited Petit Paris in Edinburgh on Wednesday night. The staff were very friendly and charming and the food was lovely. It's a great little restaurant that's always busy and it's in a great location for those visiting the city. Would really recommend.

   Cute little bistro. Thrives on location in my opinion. Small menu, some items were OK, some were big misses (dissapointing beef bourguignon). Chocolate tart was highlight of evening. Decent wine prices.

   Petit Paris Edinburgh Grassmarket We ate on the terrace(Pavement) on a beautiful June evening - excellent French food and service, house wine very good. Recommend eating outside as you can enjoy the streetlife passing by. Will definitely visit again. Staff kindly kept a table inside for us when they had to close the outdoor tablets at 10pm. Great all round experience.

    Petit Paris in Edinburgh We had a lovely meal at Petit Paris last night. Loved the food and the service was fantastic. Particularly loved the authentic feel of the place with lots of French speaking customers and staff!
