We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews.     Amazing!! My friends and I opted for the Silk Road Journey for her birthday. It was definitely worth the price 🏷️☺️ The appetizers and mezze were phenomenal— from the baba ganoush to the muhammara, all presented an authentic and refreshing taste of the mediterraneans. Ambiance and the vibe of place was excellent, with a lot of picture-worthy spots— definitely a great place for date night or a celebration dinner. Although service waned throughout the night, we definitely still had so much fun!

    I wanted my daughter, who was home for spring break, to experience Anejo Rose. We were early for our reservation, which was no problem. The staff was very courteous and accommodating regarding seating and our "special" order. Great service and delicious food and drinks is what keeps this place "top of mind" when craving this cuisine. We will be back.

    The food was outstanding and even though several in my group had not been to The Ratheskeller before, they were already planning when to go back so they could try other things, too.

    It was a wonderful experience with my friends. Everyone is very courteous, helpful and warm. Food is excellent, there's authentic touch of Greece & Mediterranean! We would definitely come back and highly recommended restaurant in the heart of Baltimore MD.
