Last Best Brewing & Distilling opened its doors in May 2015. The name Last Best draws from Calgary’s eclectic history. At the end of the 1800s, the Canadian government launched a campaign called ‘The Last Best West’; it’s purpose was to populate the western prairies and grow agriculture in Canada. The administration believed that this area was the Last Best chance in the modern world for homesteaders to lay roots and shape their futures. The accomplishments resulting from the Last Best initiative have paved the way for the budding craft beer and distilling industries here in Alberta. First time to National. Loved the booth we were given, our waitress was very attentive and nice and the pizza was the best I've ever had, the crust was perfect. I would recommend a Dragonfruit soda as well.

Good. Gratuity for a party of 10 for 20% was included, but would have preferred to have been given the heads up beforehand and an option to amend the amount. In this instance the service was excellent and very well deserved but that is not always the case!

This was about the 4th time I've been here. Hosted 4 clients with one of my managers and it was great. Food was excellent, beer and service also top notch. Great casual environment, and somewhere you can look really good as a host.
