The Japanese film Tampopo was marketed as the world’s first “ramen western”. It’s the story of two truck drivers, Goro & Gun, who use their culinary expertise to change the fate of a struggling noodle shop. Those two characters' passion for noodle-making lives on at Calgary’s 150-seat noodle bar — led by executive chef Ryusuke Araki. Located in the heart of Eau Claire, Alforno is currently offering Weekend Brunch Service from 8am-3pm and accepting reservations from 8am-10am Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. After 10am, tables are walk in only and assigned on a first come/first served basis. We kindly ask that, during peak periods, our guests limit their visit with us to 90 minutes from the start time of their reservation.
