The restaurant was founded in 2023 by owner Stella Spanu, a Boulder local. Honoring her Italian heritage and embracing her passion for food and hospitality, Spanu’s philosophy is to have a dining experience that stimulates all senses by incorporating visual art, design, music, premier service, comfortable seating and fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. Dinner at Black Cat Farmstead is a unique dining experience.     Best restaurant in Boulder. One of us has a tomato and onion allergy and the chef curated a special menu for us to order from. Service was top notch and the flavors were out of this world. Will definitely be coming back for another visit

    We enjoyed everything about our dinner and experience at the kitchen. The family style ordering was great because it allowed us to try a lot of different things. Everything from the roasted carrots to the crispy cod to the Denver steak were all amazing! We will definitely go back when visiting Boulder next time!

    My husband and I had a lovely TG Dinner at the Boulderado. The food was nicely prepared and plentiful. The serve staff was attentive. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. There was even a live pianist playing in the dining area. We truly loved it and will make this a TG tradition in years to come thank you for the hospitality

    Burgers were literally rare when we ordered medium and fries were overly salty. Brussels and wings were tasty as were cocktails. Trivia was very fun!
