The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments.     Our server Mark is exceptional!! He quickly approached our table greeted us and brought chips and salsa. He took our order in a timely manner and brought our drinks. He is kind, respectful, and a valuable employee! Thank you Mark for taking care of our table especially having our 5 year old granddaughter! She said you are very nice and she wants us to take her back to El Toritos upon her next visit with us, her grandparents! She loves the kids meal especially the ice cream sundae! Kudos to Mark!!!!

    Always a good meal with service to match. Keeps us coming back especially as the numbers of servers that we know from another location continues to grow. As they are excellent people.

    It was a great place to have brunch. Our son ate all of his chicken and waffles;). Service was great and the people working were all so pleasant. They even give locals a discount. Will definitely come back for cocktails and events they have with or without kids.

    Nice clean restrooms are clean. Food was OK. It was good. Drinks were OK. Staff was very nice.
