The name “Sessions” comes from the British term “session beers”. During WWI in England, munitions workers had long breaks often taken at the pub where they enjoyed pints of ale with lunch and lively conversation. It all started in 1992, when Annette and Gerner Andresen opened the Lighthouse Café in Sausalito in its present form.
