Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. We did the 8 course tasting menu and split a wine pairing between two people. The service, food, and atmosphere are all fantastic. I am still dreaming about a few of the dishes!

Wonderful staff and great food. It was a busy time of the year (during holidays) when I dined there, service was fantastic. A bit crowded for my linking and noise level was high.

Our first visit to La Bartola was memorable. The service was excellent, but it’s the food that sets them apart. Their plant based menu makes you forget you are not eating animal protein. We tried their the Oaxacan Memelas, Mole Blanco, Oaxacan Tetelas & Pistachio Pipian and for dessert their orange tamale and key-lime ice-cream. All delicious and expertly crafted. Thank you for a delicious meal and excellent service. We plan on coming back!

It was my first time trying plant based restaurant and I really enjoyed each dish. We tried burrata, pappadelle and white truffle agnolotti and finished off with sweet potato cheesecake. They were delicious and all staffs were very kind and attentive. Definitely going back!
