Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Rigatoni Bolognese, White Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti, Eggplant Parmigiana, Squash Risotto and Lion's Mane Steak.Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm, If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish.     The food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was enriched with flavor the service was awesome the accommodations was perfect and lite. This gave me a new look on Mexican culture and food. I loved it. The ambiance was amazing. Love it.

    Gia serves amazing plant-based Italian food with great service. Our drinks, appetizers, and meals came out quickly, and everything was spot on. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a tasty and smooth dining experience.

    A great tasting menu! With very innovative vegan dishes with unique ingredients. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and received a nice little surprise for dessert.

    Everyone (even the carnivore in the group) loved the meal. And ensured the celiac member was fully protected. Bang bang broccoli is a must. Love the lettuce wraps. Loved the cheesecake dessert. And perhaps my favourite thing was the mezcal cocktail with green garnish (name forgotten)- not sweet, great flavour. Excellent service

    Such a great experience- arrived early enough to have a happy hour app and drink which was a lovely way to kick off our meal (and super delicious). The mains were filling, creative and beautiful. Even my meat-eating friend was impressed. Can’t wait to go back!
