Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks.     We have had dinner here a few times, which is an outstanding experience with a lively but comfortable atmosphere. This was my first time having lunch here and it was equally wonderful. It didn't have the same amount of people as a weekend night, understandably, but it was a perfect choice for a business lunch. The lunch menu is priced very well and has a large amount and variety of menu selections to choose from, all at a very reasonable price for lunch. Our service was quick and our server was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional - Shoutout Dimitri :) ! I always recommend Angeline's as a great dinner spot in Uptown Charlotte, but will add it to my lunch recommendations for people in Uptown as well!

    Great experience, except the food took an unreasonable time to be served. Normally not an issue, but we had tickets to a show and were pressured to eat quickly when it finally came.
