A little history on our namesake: The Linwood Hotel: John B. Pullis established the Linwood Hotel in about 1888. Located on the Southeast corner of South Clinton Avenue and Linden Place, the Linwood Hotel temporarily housed WW1 Navy flyers from the Bay Shore Aero Station while their barracks were being constructed. The Linwood was destroyed by fire on October 11, 1925.

The waitress we had was outstanding!! I wish I could remember her name. She had platinum blonde hair. She was awesome! There was an issue with my bill and she took care of it. I’m so grateful for her and the rest of the staff For checking in on me and my sister to see how we were doing. And wishing us a happy Thanksgiving. Also, the valet group was awesome as well.

Excellent Food Brian our server was excellent. He selected the best meals for us. All was delicious 😋. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very personable and friendly. The bus boy was on top of everything. When we asked for something there was no waiting. Probably the best service I’ve had in all the times I’ve been there. Very happy

The Strawberry fields salad is a Family favorite. Add chicken, shrimp or fish and it’s a full meal. Love the big soft “everything” pretzel. Always a nice list of creative drink ideas and a full bar for anything else you think of. A High quality dishes, no matter what you order. highly recommend!
