Casual waterfront dining right on the docks of the Patchogue River, The Oar serves up fresh and delicious steaks and seafood.  Chefs prepare specialties like coconut shrimp, 36 oz sizzling prime porterhouse, lobster quesadillas and fresh Bluepoint oysters and little clams which are delivered daily.  Two dining rooms are decorated in traditional nautical style.  The front wall in made up of French doors that open onto the water, providing dockside open air seating in warm months and picturesque views of the marina year-round.  The rear dining room is elegant with raise panel mahogany, white table clothes and blue and white nautical stripe wall paper.  We look forward to accommodating your special occasion in the separate catering room.  The restaurant stocks full indoor and outdoor bars so you'll never miss a beautiful night at this fun and entertaining spot.

The Snapper Inn offers seating overlooking the Connetquot river either waterside or under a gazebo.     The waitress we had was outstanding!! I wish I could remember her name. She had platinum blonde hair. She was awesome! There was an issue with my bill and she took care of it. I’m so grateful for her and the rest of the staff For checking in on me and my sister to see how we were doing. And wishing us a happy Thanksgiving. Also, the valet group was awesome as well.

    We decided to eat out for Thanksgiving. We had a reservation for 2 pm and despite the large crowd, we were seated withing minutes. All the staff members were polite, kind and eagar to please. They made the experience extra special. The food was very good and service was great. It was worth the money and we would definately go again.

    Highly recommended.. Food , Service, ambiance, and Staff were all excellent.. Beth , the Bartender, and Kim, our waitress.. Ask for them, for a great experience

    after hearing poor things about this restaurant, we went ant way so close to home pleasantly surprised it was awesome had a wedge salad with Samon reasonable priced and delish had the flourless chocolate cake also very good wife had New England clam chowder and she said was among the best she's had and she is a soup Conosur.
