Casual waterfront dining right on the docks of the Patchogue River, The Oar serves up fresh and delicious steaks and seafood. Chefs prepare specialties like coconut shrimp, 36 oz sizzling prime porterhouse, lobster quesadillas and fresh Bluepoint oysters and little clams which are delivered daily. Two dining rooms are decorated in traditional nautical style. The front wall in made up of French doors that open onto the water, providing dockside open air seating in warm months and picturesque views of the marina year-round. We all grew up with our Grandmothers making Sunday dinner and "The Meatball" being the focal point of the day. We cherish those days of coming together with our families and the memories we created. Our goal here at "That Meetball Place" is to create an atmosphere for friends and families to gather together and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed environment with a great vibe and simple food like grandma used to make. Everything was perfect! Service was great, food was literally perfect, cocktails were excellent. The ice cream with a sparkler for my mom’s birthday was such a nice surprise! Will be back!

The service in this location was lacking quite a bit , but not terrible. Food was top tier as usual, but your better off going to the OG Bay Shore location

As always, the food and service were wonderful! Kelly, our server, was attentive and friendly and we never waited for drink refills. Both specials and menu favorites were delicious with generous portions.
