Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.We serve a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions from around the world and of various styles. My second time eating at Moon Bar and the food and cocktails were as incredible as the first. This really is a special place, definitely my favorite restaurant in the center of the city. I would recommend sitting at the main bar (maybe you can make a note when you make a reservation?), this time we were sat at a window. I had been looking forward to the people watching, watching the talented bartenders do their thing, and I was a little bummed to be facing away from the action.

What a fantastic meal! Casual yet attentive/knowledgable service, and knockout food. Highlights were the Hen Of The Woods Mushrooms and the Swordfish Schnitzel.
