It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well.     Wonderful & delicious dining experience! Shared the veggie sampler and the beef & chicken sampler - highly recommend both! Honey wine was incredible. Very happy that I chose this restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner!

    Food is really very good, but one of our dishes that was ordered with medium spice came with barely any spice at all. The menu is more extensive than many Indian restaurants. Service was pretty slow even though the restaurant was not crowded. Price can't be beat, particularly when you are providing your own alcohol. I will definitely return.

    The food was amazing! My husband and I shared the salmon dish which had a delightful spicy pineapple sauce over mashed sweet potato and a side of Brussel sprouts. Waiter was attentive and our water pitcher was filled several times before it was emptied. Music was a bit loud and the lights from the Capital One Arena were very distracting.

    We went there on a Friday evening and it wasn't too crowded. The food was very good and came out fairly quickly.
