Carmella’s Plates & Pints is the first restaurant for co-owners, Carmella Salem and Michael Alberter. Our kitchen creates upscale comfort cuisine.Our dining room has a warm and cozy feel due to the wood- beamed cathedral ceiling, open fireplace, taxidermy and stained glass windows that adorn the dining room. Our guests feel as though they are tucked away at some destination lodge that exists in the heart of the Historic Southside. Always a delicious dinner. Nice seasonal menu entree changes. Meatloaf & Amish Pie dinners were excellent! The best bartenders and cocktails in Pittsburgh (we travel from 500+ miles away & always stop in when in town) old fashioned cocktail is my personal favorite. Keep it going! Bravo!

Took 45 minutes for our food. Ticket times are way too slow. Waitress never refilled until after we got food and we called her over.
