In the 12th century, nomadic tribes of Mongol hordes invaded and conquered most of Northern Asia and Eastern Europe under Genghis Khan. Stopping each night to make camp, they would place their upturned shields over their camp fires and cook their meat with wooden sticks….And so the concept of The Mongolian Barbeque was born!!Ok, that’s the history lesson over. One question people ask us a lot is ‘Do I need to be able to cook to eat here?’ And the answer is no! All you do is grab a bowl and choose your ingredients from our selection of meat, seafood, vegetables, tofu and noodles. You pick what you like! Then season with spices, herbs and sauces.It’s a fun and unique way to eat and is also very healthy as we try to use as little oil as possible when stir frying.     Overall, the dinner was lovely. The interior is beautiful and gives a great first impression. The food was gorgeous, pricey but you pay not only for food but also ambiance so I absolutely don't mind! However, the only downside was the service. On a quiet day, there is absolutely no reason to put the only two tables right beside each other, it was rather awkward. One situation that left quite a bad taste in my mouth was when the staff argued about an order. It was a genuine mistake - I ordered a lamb bao, and received a lobster one. Completely different but I had the staff argue as the lobster bao is called "Lambay" and tried to tell me I was the one that ordered wrong... Just a mistake however it wasn't handled great. The food was gorgeous, the spiced margarita with the lychee foam one of the best ones I had, but overall experience was a bit tainted and unfortunately I won't be rushing back.

    I went to Kaldero with friends to celebrate my birthday. It was a great experience! Delicious food, beautiful place and really good service. Will definitely be back!
