La Peniche is a restaurant located on the barge MV Riasc (La Peniche is French for barge) which is moored on the Grand Canal alongside Mespil Road between Baggot and Leeson Street bridges. Fantastic food, great vegetarian options. Second visit in 2 months and will be back again. Nice informal setting and reasonably good value for a great quality menu.

The Guinea Pig, with Kevin ensuring that everyone is welcomed and served with professionalism, good humour and knowledge, is such a really lovely place to eat. I regularly bring friends here, particularly if we want lovely food, good wine and conversation. I have hosted a party for 25 and the attention to detail was second to none. Their fish and seafood dishes are always exquisite and I love their Pate. I highly recommend the Guinea Pig.
