I eat there once a month and the service and food is always consistently great. I take friends there occasionally and it has always been a success, regardless of the meal. One other big thing is that they let each person pay for their own meal, without all the stress of people trying to pay for one bill. Greatly appreciated! A neighbourhood gem for me, white table cloths too.

Good hearty food, service staff is very good, friendly and looked after us well. Unlike quite a few other restaurants, True South is good for big groups in that they don’t force you to go with a banquet or set menu. Our group of over 8 people were allowed to order ala carte and individuals within our big group are catered for individually. Big thumbs up for this!!!

The staff are very friendly and attentive which was great! We went on Thursday - Steak night which was really good value with chips & side salad & tasty. Delicious banana fritters & icecream for dessert but $15 was on the pricey side for a pub meal. Overall an enjoyable place to eat , but good idea to book as it gets busy .

Have to be my favourite pub . The specials are the best value for money . Steak all day and into the night on a Tuesday and roast for $24 on a Sunday . Excellent service from our waiter “Darius” so professional and knowledgeable . I like to dine here every couple of months as I live on the Mornington Peninsula and this would have to be the best pub meal ever . So Thankyou I will be back .
