The primary and private dining rooms are located in the original first floor gathering spaces. The intimate restaurant deftly juxtaposes modern orange vinyl chairs with black and white portraits of Bridgehampton’s agrarian history, handblown glassware with delicate seasonal flowers. Featuring one-on-one service, the restaurant cozily seats 50 while offering a more relaxed atmosphere in the warm months on our private patio, which has been reconfigured to capture the beauty and peacefulness of our Inn’s garden. Our thoughtfully playful dinner menus change bi-weekly, with the season, and feature the best available, locally-gathered ingredients. That means 800+ recipes a year - how exciting! Each week: the menu consistently serves a form of duck and fish, an iteration of the fritter - lobster, artichoke, zucchini - and our all-time favorite cheeses found at Loaves & Fishes Food Store on cheese stones.

Bistro Eté is everything you long for in a restaurant tucked away in a quaint spot in The Mill Center. This unpretentious dining experience celebrates food and wine in a setting for all the senses yet does not compete with the flavors. Chef Arie, inspired by his Cypriot heritage, formal training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and his years working under Two Star Michelin Chef Philippe Da Silva in Provence, presents cuisine reflective of this coastal style. Longtime customers can still indulge in his classic dishes such as escargot, striped bass with champagne truffle sauce and his own dry aged steaks. Of course Chef Arie’s menu will include many mouthwatering vegan and vegetarian dishes driven by altering his favorite recipes for his vegetarian wife.

Chef/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood opened Vine Street Cafe in 2003. Located on South Ferry Road, just 1.5 miles from the South Ferry. Chef Terry works with area farmers, fishermen & vineyards and features their natural bounty on his seasonal menus. We make everything in house and Lisa's desserts, ice creams and fruit crisps are no exception. Recently, we opened a small market behind the restaurant. This is where you pick up take-out orders while stocking your home pantry. Specialty catering is available along with ready fresh meals such as meatballs, chicken salad, bread, smoked ribs, BBQ Sauce and a selection of artisan pastas. Reservations are highly recommended year round.

    Bistro Ete never disappoints. Hosts Chef Arie and Liz set the tone for their friendly and attentive staff. Started off with a Cucumber Cosmo and a delicious 2014 Margaux from Bordeaux. Shared 3 appetizers, Brussel sprouts w/grilled halloumi, Truffle grilled cheese and escargot Everything was delicious and the plates were wiped clean. Entrees were Sea Bass with Truffle sauce and roasted pork loin. Finished off the meal with Chef Arie’s homemade ice cream. Bistro Ete has a loyal following both on and off season so reservations are a must. Our go to restaurant whenever out East!

    Will be returning here. Will be recommending here, to anyone really. Had an amazing time. Food was incredible, ambiance laid back and chill, with nice, fun music playing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Honestly couldn’t ask for more, a great experience.

    Always wonderful service and innovative dishes to try. Very accommodating staff. Classic and warm ambience. We go for special occasions a couple of times a year and have a wonderful evening.
