Lovely lunch if a little noisy as it was packed on a Wednesday lunchtime. Chef did the linguine with tomato rather than cream for us and it.was yummy! Thank you. Managed half a crumble each and that was lovely too.

As always, the meal was excellent. It was an 'old' school friends reunion, the extensive menu catered for all of our tastes. The service again as always leaves other eateries in the shade, friendly, unobtrusive, but on hand if we needed anything. Thank you to Gareth, Kate, and the team we all enjoyed our lunch. Pleasant venue, friendly attentive staff. We went on a Wednesday, but at 1pm, some of the dishes on the pick of the Day had already sold out, so to get full choice, so even at midweek, book your table earlier to get the full choice.

Thank you again to the team at The Centurion, and thanks to Brandon, will definitely be back, best pub in Colchester.
