We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs. Our bar offers well thought out drinks and bangin' happy hour specials. Come in & smile! We will do the rest!Outdoor seating is currently available but not guaranteed. In the event of inclement weather, incoming reservations will be seated on a first come - first serve basis. Tables currently sitting will be allowed to move to another table if possible, but tables themselves cannot be moved under any circumstance. We have limited space under cover and cannot accommodate every one to be out of the weather. If you have already ordered food and choose not to stay you will be given boxes to go.

It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Our team has worked hard to connect to our community, and we value our customers. These values have been central to Ellen and Linwood’s vision, and we hope are felt by our customers each day.

We ordered from the brunch menu. I had the Breakfast Fried Rice. It was a large portion and very delicious! My friend got the Fittata Omlette which is always her favorite.

Loved the lemon drop flight! Food was just ok. The owner was there and he came by to check on our table. That was really nice.

This is an excellent spot for a friends luncheon! We enjoyed bookmaker salad (spectacular), the crab quiche, fish and chips and the shrimp salad! Crab soup is very good, a bit pricey. Smith Island cake... the best! And thanks to Aislinn C. our super server! Attentive and helpful!
