A favourite of Clapham Junction's Northcote Road since 1990 - an awfully long time in the London restaurant scene - Osteria Antica Bologna is as fresh and thrilling an Italian restaurant as the day it first opened its doors. It conjures up images of hidden away village osterias in the wild countryside of Emilia Romagna or the rolling hills of Tuscany, its cheerful welcome befitting of an old family favourite. Chef Marzio Zacchi passionately believes in using fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce having grown up in Biella in the Piemonte countryside surrounded by a family who reared chickens, grew veg and cured their own salami. Poppies in Hanbury Street was Pop’s first restaurant and the one where the journey began. The retro-diner and takeaway is close to Pop’s heart as it brought 70year old Pat out of retirement. It fulfilled his lifelong dream of opening an East End chippie and a desire to offer customers a taste of the old East End.

Fran's is a neighbourhood caff on Wilton Way, offering British and Italian comfort food. All day English breakfast, fry ups, fresh handmade pasta. We welcome walk-ins throughout the day and take bookings for our evening menu from 5.30pm Thursday to Saturday. On Sunday we have our all day breakfast and weekend lunch menu until 3pm. We have our Wine Bar a few doors down, if you would like to visit pre dinner or while waiting for a table.Please be advised we do not take reservations for Breakfast or Lunch. Please feel free to walk-in!!

First time at The Veg Box but not the last. This is such a friendly restaurant: we felt very welcome. Going upstairs, we were very pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous, light and open space. But, after only a short wait, that was surpassed by the food. The lasagne stood out but the ramen noodles, budha bowl and everything else was excellent, too. We'll be recommending this restaurant every time we can.

The service was superb and the haddock fish & chips even better - the best we've enjoyed in the UK. Their high ratings are definitely earned!!

Very nice staff, lovely wine and dessert! But the only thing to consider is they don’t have a toilet so be aware to when booking.
