A lovely Valentines Day lunch. Very,very good service as always. Table with a great view over the marshes. No Bacardi stocked so my wife chose water. The Brancaster Brewery Oystercatcher was a lovely brew! We had oysters first then mussels then a pud. Oysters good but not as big or well presented as previous visits to be rated excellent. Mussels were also good but not excellent. Good quantity and fries kindly substituted for focaccia but size and cookedness (?) of the mussels varied. Excellent effort for a busy Valentines Day lunch service!!! Local real ale at £5/pint and a service charge of 10% seemed very reasonable indeed.

Been here many times and have enjoyed traditional Sunday roast (once) and the seafood sharing platter (many times). Always been a really good meal on here. On this occasion we opted for the Steak Sharing Board (2 x 10oz steaks plus a host of trimmings) for my girlfriend and I, and we weren't disappointed. Simply superb. A little more than we usually spend but happy to advise this is a case of you get what you pay for. Each of the sauces (blue cheese/peppercorn) was spot on as well I don't often leave reviews but this was worthy of me taking the time to come on here and do so. Really did enjoy it Also, must commend the friendly service from the two staff who were dealing with us

Fabulous place to have lunch and I’ll definitely come back for dinner. Caitlin and Bradley were excellent, friendly and fun members of staff. Made you feel very welcome. Very dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

Generally, v good, as usual. Perhaps we should have asked for a window table as we were rather ‘crammed’ into a relatively small area occupied by quite a few other diners! The rest of the main dining area was somewhat sparsely used. Overall, food and service were excellent - looking forward to next visit!

We were given a table which was not ideal at all. There was two of us and the stable was a small 2 seater bench table agains a dividing wall. We were right on the main walk way coming into the pub. We asked if we could move as we saw a few tables that were empty. They said they couldn’t as they were booked. We ordered the meat shared plus 3 bar snacks and it was impossible to fit it on our table. We had to stack things on a ledge along with our drinks. Spoilt it for us as the food was lovely and really good value for money but the table was not ideal at all. Whilst trying to eat our food and have a conversation there were people queuing for the bar right next to us and then other people coming in were knocking us as they were ere trying to get past
