Traditionally inspired from dishes, ingredients & techniques spanning the Malay archipelago, namely Singapore & Indonesia. Regionally influenced by Northern California’s palette of producers, produce, and presentation. Nusantara cuisines could be characterized as intense, rich, spiced (more than spicy). Disappointed restaurant was not open, ate in bar area. Server/bartender was doing double duty. He was excellent. Food was fabulous (quiche and salad).

Found this neighborhood restaurant while traveling through Pleasant Hill. Conveniently located not far from 680. Food was perfectly done and the restaurant was busy with other people enjoying the food. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit.

A unique combination of excellent food, efficient and welcoming staff, at a reasonable price. The chef has a real talent for turning out creative dishes that satisfy the most demanding palettes. A real pleasure to dine at this establishment.

I took 3 work colleagues to dinner. All had a drink or two, and we shared a couple of appetizers: crab cakes and bruschetta. Both were delicious. All four of us were also very impressed with our meals: mixed seafood grill, jambalaya, meatballs, and chicken piccata. Delicious and big portions. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
