Great dinner! We made 5:30 reservations. The hostess was very friendly. Our waitress was great (I wish I remembered her name) she knew the menu well and gave us great drink suggestions. We had the halibut and steak pasta for our meals. We can’t wait to return to try other meals.

Food and service was very good. Wishing you success with your new location. A few recommendations: Language barrier with some staff. Recommend adding a child’s menu as portions too large and price too high for children. Parking is a challenge. Tables by the door are too cold. Noise level high in back dining room.

Monica was our server and she was outstanding! Three of us done out monthly and we tried New Mill last night and was not disappointed!! I had the Maple Glazed Pork Chop and it’s cooked just right and was the best ever. The other entrees were crab stuffed cod and a home made cavatelli pasta with grilled chicken and those were also excellent. I topped off my meal with a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. Wow! Definitely going back!!

Great historical ambiance. Service was excellent and so was the food. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.

The food at this restaurant is beyond excellent. Wide array of appetizers. Staff were so friendly. Great, hip atmosphere. Seared hanger steak, shrimp and grits, Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls, Steak Tips…all top notch. We’ve been in Hamden 2 days and ate there twice because it’s so good.
